Our food pantry program is run to help the needy in our area every third Thursday of the month from 9:30 am till noon at the church. We make every provision to maintained a well stocked pantry however due to the uncertainty of the number of recipients it is a first come first serve situation. We would like to help all of those in need but it is just not possible.
We provide a variety of foods and nonperishables each month. We cannot guarantee which items will be given as each month our supply changes. Each year tons of food is distributed to the needy. When we mean “tons” we literally mean many metric tons of food is moved through the pantry. If you are in need please feel free to call us at (330)424-9400. Our machine is always on and we check it daily. We promise to get back to you as soon as possible. Here at Lisbon Baptist Temple we are always on the move!
If you would like to help us with the Food Pantry program in distributing food to the needy we would love to have the help. We are always looking for plastic shopping bags! The kind you get from grocers or shopping centers. We use these to help in the distribution of the products. And as always, if you would like to donate monetarily to the program your help is appreciated and we make you the promise that every last cent goes straight into the food itself. It is our responsibility and our honor to help the local needy in any way we can. We love others because Christ first loved us!
